Hi, I found Red Oak on a different website that has a lot of videos (name starts with a Y). At the time I was very deep int other books and lessons from other big publishers. It probably took about a year before I seriously looked into this site. I have to say it was perfect timing. I was looking to go to the next instruction... and there is Red Oak. I couldn't be happier. I am very impressed with everything here. I can say that the lessons here are the best you can find anywhere... there is none better. To me this is also a huge money saver. Guitar lessons here in my area are around $50.00 per hour from a good instructor. Even if I had that kind of money, it would not beat Kenny Ray's instructions. It all boils down to a students dedication and willingness to practice consistently.... on a daily basis. I am very happy with my progress and the lesson here. Now, combined with the simple functionality of the website, Red Oak is the best site I found for Blues Guitar, hands down. I plan on learning all the Blues Lessons here, I like it that much. The only recommendation that I have to a fellow student is to invest in a good finger exerciser, and good metronome and use them. I would also say that knowing the Blues Pentatonic Scales is a must. If you don't know your Pentatonic Scales before hand, you'll have to play a bit of catch up... and that would be the only thing that I can think of that would slow a student down.
