DescriptionThis is the fourth lesson of Duke Robillard's Swingin' the Blues series of guitar lessons. The goal for this series is to transition a player familiar with standard 12 bar blues to more melodic and complex jazzy blues / swing playing. The series first focuses on jazzy blues and swing rhythm guitar to lay a solid foundation and then teaches passing chords, comping, riffing, double stops and lead guitar. The series ends by putting all of the new knowledge to practice in three songs: Swingin' with Lucy Mae, Lester Leaps In and Moten Swing.
